What is a nonsubscriber account?
If you choose not to subscribe to jklasser.com, you can still purchase products, such as our bestselling tax guides, from this site. To do so, you will need to set up a Wiley account (unless you are placing a one-time order).
What is a Wiley account?
jklasser.com is part of John Wiley & Sons. Your Wiley account is an online account that you can use to order J.K. Lasser books and other Wiley products from the convenience of your computer. When you set up a Wiley account, you can use it to order Wiley products online at this or any of the following Wiley sites:

How do I set up my account?
When you are ready to check out and place your online order, you are prompted to establish an online account. Note that you do not have to create an online account if you prefer to place a one-time order; however, an online account is quite convenient if you plan to order again from this site.
To create an account, you need to fill out the following information:
- Your name
- Your e-mail address
- Your billing address
- Your phone number
You can also select whether you want this order to be shipped to the same address as your billing address or to a different address.
You must then select a password to establish your account. Be sure to choose a password that is memorable yet not easily guessed. Type it in the first box, retype it in the second box to confirm what you typed, and then click the Continue Secure Checkout button to proceed with your order. You are given another chance to review all the information submitted about your account and the total charges before you enter your credit card information and submit the order.
You can access your account at any time by clicking the Your Account link in the upper right corner of any page on this site.

What if I lost my password?
If you've forgotten the password for your Wiley account, click the "Need help with Log In?" link at the top of any page on the site. Then type in your user name and click Submit. We'll immediately e-mail a new password to the e-mail address we have on record for your account.
Note: After you log in with the new password you are given, you can again change the password to something more memorable by clicking the Your Account link at the top of the page.
What if I want to change my name, e-mail address, or other account information?
You can update your personal information for your Wiley account by following these steps:
- Click the Your Account link at the top of the page.
- On the Your Account page, click Account Information.
- When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.
- Click any of these buttons, depending on which information you want to change:
- Edit Address
- Edit E-Mail Address
- Edit Password
- Change whatever information you need to update for the account.
- Click Submit.

How do I track a recent order?
After you set up a Wiley account, you can check out shipping and tracking information on all orders placed within the last 30 days. Follow these steps:
- Click the Your Account link at the top of the page.
- Click Orders & Subscriptions.
- When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.
You see the Order Date, Order Number, Title, Status, and Tracking Number of your recent orders. If you click the Order Number, you get more details about costs, quantities, shipping, and any discounts or taxes applied.
How do I view my order history?
After you set up a Wiley account, you can view detailed summaries of all the orders you have placed since establishing the account. Follow these steps:
- Click the Your Account link at the top of the page.
- Click Your Order History.
- When prompted, enter your e-mail address and account password, and then click the Log In button.
You see the Order Date, Order Number, Title, Status, and Tracking Number of all orders placed through this account. If you click the Order Number, you get more details about costs, quantities, shipping, and any discounts or taxes applied.
