What amount can I deduct for medical mileage to doctor’s appointments?

For 2011, there were two rates: 19¢ per mile for the first half of the year and 23.5¢ per mile for the second half of the year. For 2012, the rate is 23¢ per mile for the full year unless the IRS changes the rate later in the year.
